The concept for this latest change was ‘small and light.’ The most significant design appeal of Prelude lies in the bold SS parts at the bottom and the simplicity of the assembly, which remains hidden externally.
Reducing weight posed a challenge, as the bottom SS part, contributing to the weight, was a hindrance. To achieve both weight reduction and durability, extensive samples were created, and the optimal material turned out to be Black Ultem. As the size decreased, the grip sensitivity also improved.
